This experience was the best! Our guide tried as hard as he could to find manatees and dolphins, we were able to see both! When looking for shells, we got to enjoy the water for a little bit also. Our guide shared lots of stories and answered lots of questions. Would highly recommend this trip!!

Fantastic tour! Special shout out to Captain Josh, and First mates Brax and Michaela! They were so knowledgeable and funny. We saw so many dolphins too which was a plus.Side note: I think we did the same tour a few years ago and they went on a different route — both were good but it was fun to go through the channels more and see the houses.

We purchased tickets for the Sunset Cruise. We chose not to have dinner on board but we able to buy drinks and apps. Both were fairly good. The narration was good and the views were great. Sunset was beautiful. We boarded early and managed to secure an outside table on the back of the second deck which was shaded by the third deck. It was great for viewing however there wasn’t enough of a breeze (in August) to compensate for the heat and direct sunlight streaming in under the ceiling. If you don’t mind the heat, or if you’re sailing in the cooler months, it’s a great spot. Otherwise choose an inside table on the left side of the ship for more shade!

Cool SWFL was easy to book with. Unfortunately, halfway through our excursion bad weather was happening in South Florida, and we had to turn back, not completing the tour. They were very happy to help me get a partial refund and I am grateful I am looking forward to taking the same tour the next time I am in South Florida and will be booking with Cool SWFL. I was expecting a problem getting my refund and they just made it so easy to do business with.

(Went in July) would recommend bringing some mosquito or bug spray which I wasn’t aware of. There was a lot of mosquitos out on the beach we went to the for the sunset cruise, and picking shells, as well as quite a few mosquitoes once dusk hit and we would make various stops or go slower on the boat. Every booking experience is different. This trip we did not see any manatees, but did see a couple dolphins and various birds around the area, also a lot of aligators. Captain John made it a great experience. He was very knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife, and had a great sense of humor which made it a very fun experience. I would definetly recommend going on sunset cruise and requesting it with captain John if possible.
