It was a nice walk and I learned a lot

Doing self guide was very convenient as I was able to move at the pace that suited me. It was a good walk and all flat and the guide was clear and provided very good information, details I would not have known if I’d just walked around aimlessly. 10/10 recommend.

It was very well done and easy to follow. We did it early on Sunday before it got to busy and noisy.

Really liked the automatic feature that gave information about featured points of interest as you came upon them. Very informative. Tutorial instructions helpful.

Outstanding Experience! As a future resident and brand new visitor to Tampa, Florida, it is essential that I learn about the culture, history, and infrastructure of the town. We had a nice time visiting Tampa. We parked in the Ybor historic district. We had a great lunch at Carmine’s restaurant. Good service, great food. Then we walked about a block and hopped on the free Trolley that takes you to downtown Tampa. Runs daily about every 15 minutes. Fun. We didn’t get off to explore, but could have. And it goes right by the Tampa Aquarium, which is a great experience in itself.

Our first experience with a smartphone self-guided tour, and we weren't sure what to expect. Based on reviews of similar apps, we downloaded & installed the app at the hotel using WiFi before leaving, to ensure we didn't have any problems during the tour. It worked great, and both the app and the tour itself were surprisingly professional. The tour great "ambiance" that was perfectly suited to the area with music, sound effects, etc! The narrator had a latinx accent (appropriate for this historic Cuban-influenced neighborhood) and his voice was easy to listen to and well-paced. The app didn't glitch, and provided good photos of landmarks and a "live arrow" to point us in the right direction. Good info on the history and culture of the area. Didn't cover everything (obviously) but provided opportunities to "dig deeper" if you wanted using links. We spent about an hour actively using the app, but stopped several times to enjoy parks, eat snacks, etc. which we wouldn't have been able to do on a human-guided group tour. Perfect for our needs. Will use this company (walkntours) again in other cities for sure.
